Privacy Policy

FinPotik (finpotik.com) is a set of free financial calculators with no sign-up. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the site and how to control it.
In short: your calculations never leave the browser, there are no accounts or forms, and visit statistics are collected only with your permission.
Who is responsible

Your calculations
Everything you type into the calculators is processed in your browser and is not sent to a server.
- Saved calculation. So you do not have to type the inputs again, the browser keeps the last calculation of each calculator and restores it if you come back within 30 days. The Reset button erases it
- The link from Share calculation carries the inputs in the address itself. They go only where you send that link

None of these entries holds your name, email or anything else about you. All of them except the
_ga cookies stay in your browser. You can erase them in the browser settings ("Clear site
data").
Visit statistics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Google LLC) - only after you click "Allow" in the banner. Until then the analytics script is not loaded.
Google Analytics sees which pages you opened, your approximate location (country and city), your device and browser type, and where you came from. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. It never receives the amounts or inputs of your calculations, and the data is not used for advertising. We use it to learn which calculators and articles are useful.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data
Protection", Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the button at the
bottom of this page: analytics turns off and the _ga cookies are removed. How Google
processes data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Hosting
Like any web server, ours keeps technical request logs (IP address, time, page address, browser). They are needed for security and stable operation and are kept for a limited time. Fonts, styles and scripts are served from the site's own server - your browser contacts no third-party service until you allow statistics.
Supporting the project
The Support button opens a window with a link to Ko-fi, and Ko-fi itself opens in a new tab. Payment happens on Ko-fi under its own rules; FinPotik never sees your card details.
Your rights
Under the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection", and for visitors from the EU under the GDPR, you have the right to know what data about you is processed, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to the processing, and to withdraw your consent.
Apart from the hosting's technical logs, the site keeps no data about you on its server, so you can exercise most of these rights yourself: clear the site data in your browser or withdraw consent below. For Google Analytics data, email us at the address above. You can complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, in the EU, to your country's data protection authority.

A new version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
